Buon Vino Super Jet Filter Pads #2 Bulk 51 (17 Sets)
#2 Fine Square - Super Jet - 19.8 cm X 19.8 cm with holes 1.8-2.0 Micron size.
These are bulk 51 filters in one package, no retail packaging. Fresh from the factory.
The #1 pads are coarse wine filter pads, mainly used for heavy wines. These pads will not show significant change in the wine. They are used to collect and/or break down large particles. We use these pads to filter the wines before barrel aging and for our heavy bodied dessert wines (Port, Ice Style, Sherry). (6 Micron)
- The #2 pads are finer, used for the brightening and polishing of the wine. A significant change should be noticed in clarity and brightness. These are the most commonly used pads and will work for practically all wine filtering applications. (1.8 Micron)
- The #3 pads will further enhance your wines. (These pads should only be used after the wine has been filtered with the #2 Pads at least once to prevent excessive saturation of the filter media due to sediment.) The #3 pads assist in removing up to 80% of the yeast in wine. (0.5 Micron)
All three grades of pads are not reusable and should be discarded when finished.

Oak Barrel Sealing Wax
1/3 ounce of unscented unflavored barrel wax for sealing leaks
Perfect consistency for sealing oak barrels. Not too soft and not too hard.
Does not change the flavor of your oak barrel contents
Put a dab on your finger and press it in to the leaking areas to seal barrels from the outside.
This is wax made specifically for sealing oak aging barrel leaks. You place it on the outside of the barrel on the leaking area to seal up leaks. 1 ounce of barrel wax should be enough to seal up a few leaks on a small oak barrel. If you have a larger barrel or multiple leaks we recommend that you purchase more than one ounce of barrel wax. Sealing instructions: You basically want to wipe the wax on the affected areas (after drying) and press it in to the pores of the wood. Then you can wipe off the excess with a rag. The wax will fill the pores in that area and seal it up.
